How to Remove Bad Odors From Your Refrigerator

1) Remove All Items

Remove all items from your refrigerator. Be sure to throw out any expired items and old leftovers. Also be sure to dispose of any food that is being stored in open containers or paper take out containers.

2) Wipe Inside of Refrigerator

Prepare a mixture of white vinegar and water. Mix equal parts of warm water and white vinegar. Wipe entire refrigerator with vinegar water solution. Cleaning all shelves and trays well. Let sit 20-25 minutes then wipe with clean cloth and fresh water. Cleaning rag often.

3) Place Items Back

Clean off all jars and containers. Always use glass or plastic containers with tight fitting lids to store leftovers. It’s a good idea to place highly perishable items on high shelves to improve visibility and usage.
